Bear Creek Sports Park (BCSP) is looking forward to another great year of Hannibal and surrounding area kids playing baseball and softball. BCSP has some very big plans and lofty goals for facility and operational improvements. Both facility improvements as well as operational improvements will not be possible without a lot of hard work and extraordinary community support.

Let me share a few quick facts about Bear Creek Sports Park:

• The park was started and built in 1992 with two fields thanks to the vision of Carl and Lisa Ball and support of many local businesses.
• Over 500 kids from Hannibal participate in the BCSP baseball and softball leagues each year.
• Over 300 kids from surrounding areas also participate in leagues and tournaments at BCSP.
• BCSP is the only four field complex in the Hannibal area.
• BCSP has had no major improvements in the last 8 years.
• BCSP operates as a non-profit 501c3 corporation.
• Over 2,500 people visit BCSP on a weekly basis during the summer baseball and softball season.
• A completely new board has been in place since June of 2011.
